WHAT DOES MY CLUB MEAN TO ME

My Club means everything to me as it should  for every other GAA player in the country ;its where you come when you are happy or sad and you are always welcomed with open arms ;its where you persue  your dream of becoming an Inter county hurler or Gaelic footballer ;it’s a place are accepted for who you are and a place where you can relax in difficult times

FAVOURITE THINGS

My favourite things about my Club is the passion & spirit our Club has, whether it’s in a county final or a challenge match we always come together as a unit & do everything as a group ; even just meeting people around the village everyone is so friendly & welcoming .I am also very  proud the way our Club & pitches are kept which is due to the hard work of the Ronan family & the way our club is run, compliments of our Club committee & our brilliant Chairman Dave O’Neill.

FAVOURITE MEMORY

Although I have lots of fond memories with my Club such as winning a county final there is one memory that I will cherish forever & that is October 18th 2018 when Graigue Ballycallan won the Kilkenny Intermediate Championship .I will always remember that day because I had never seen so many grown adults ,both male & female crying in my life & to see what it meant to everyone .It was definitely one of the proudest moments to be from Graigue Ballycallan  .There was a fantastic building up to the match & to see the joy & emotion after the final whistle is something that will stay with me forever .We then has the added bonus of going on to win the Leinster Intermediate Championship before the great disappointment of losing the All Ireland semi final.
