Following Saturdays semi-final double bill in UPMC Nowlan Park, the finailists for the St Canice’s Credit Union Senior hurling championship are known. Dicksboro and Shamrocks Ballyhale will face each other on Sept 27th in the decider. Dicksboro overcame O’Loughlin Gaels to reach the final while James Stephens tested Shamrocks with all they had, but ultimately it was not enough.
Also on Saturday the Kilkenny Honday Centre Minor ‘C’ decider took place in MW Hire TC and Tullaroan overcame Lisdowney on a scoreline of 2-18 to 1-14 while on Sunday Dicksboro claimed the Kilkenny Honda Centre ‘A’ title following a 0-19 to 1-5. The ‘B’ final was played on Sunday also at the MW Hire TC and it saw Dunnamaggin calim the title over Bennettsbridge, the final score 2-13 to 2-10.
In the relegation finals Graigue-Ballycallan overcame Danesfort, which means intermediate beckons for Danesfort next year, while in the intermediate Fenians were victorious over St Patricks,Ballyragget.
