Lisdowney and Shamrocks Ballyhale are celebrating following their respective wins this weekend. Lisdowney and Thomastown went head to head in the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate final on Saturday and it took eighty minutes of hurling and a penalty shoot-out to seperate both sides but it was Lisdowney who were victorious and they can look forward to senior hurling in 2021.
On Sunday in the St Canice’s Credit Union Senior final Dickboro took on reining county and All-Ireland champions Shamrocks Ballyhale. Following a scare in their semi-final Shamrocks were determined not to have a repeat performace and hit the ground running and that tempo carried them through the game running out 5-19 to 1-10 winners.
