Waterford came from seven points down to win Saturday’s All-Ireland semi-final by four points following a sparkling second half by the Deise men. Kilkenny started the the brighest and would have been content at half-time, seven points ahead having not played well. But Waterford retook to the pitch and from the off upped the anti, two goal in the second half gave them a huge lift at crucial times and ultimately proved to be invaluable. Waterford ran out 2-23 to 2-27 winners and will face either Galway or Limerick in the All-Ireland final in two weeks time.
