The “bread and butter” scheme run by the GAA to subsidise the purchase of helmets is the latest casualty of Covid-19. However for 2021 Cumann na mBunscol Cill Chainnigh will channel its reserves to keep helmet prices at current levels .

All players in need of helmets should contact their schools to secure a helmet at subsidy prices .
