Galway claimed the Electric Ireland minor title for 2020 in MW Hire O’Moore Park on Saturday evening following an additional time goal. Following a slow start Kilkenny rallied in the second quarter and were in the contest right until the end, and looked to be closing in on victory but a late goal denied them the title. The score line finished 1-14 to 1-17 in favour of the men from the west.
