The 2021 Hurlers Co-Op Draw was this evening launched at an event in UPMC Nowlan Park. Recently retired  inter-county star Paul Murphy from Danesfort was on hand to complete the formal launch.

In his address Cathaoirleach Cumann Luthchleas Gael Cill Chainnigh Jimmy Walsh alluded to the difficult times all clubs had come through over the past 18 months. He welcomed the return of the Hurlers Co-Op Draw to its original pre-Covid format and encouraged all GAA followers in Kilkenny to support both club and county by purchasing a ticket for the 5 draws.

Draw Co-Ordinator Gerri Hickey, who has been administering the scheme since 1982, outlined the important role the Draw has had in improving facilities in clubs all over the county.  She encouraged all clubs to avail of the opportunity to raise much needed finance adding that a minimum of 50% is earned by each club for every ticket sold.

In 2021 there will be a total prize fund of €115,000 with a top prize of a car on offer in three of the 5 draws. First draw takes place on 28th Sept. Tickets will be available from your club from this weekend.
