Kilkenny were made to fight hard for victory over Laois in the U-20 Leinster Championship Quarter final on Tuesday night in UPMC Nowlan Park. Both teams battled hard throughout exchanging score for score but it was only in the final quarter that Kilkenny started to put a bit of day light between the teams. Kilkenny ran out 1-18 to 1-15 winners setting up a semi-final fixture with Galway down to be played next Tuesday night, full details TBC.
