Following an action packed weekend of intermediate hurling action, the semi-final pairings for the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai intermediate semi-finals are known, Thomastown will face Glenmore while The Fenians will face St Lachtain’s. Both semi-finals will be played as a double header in UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday Oct 31st.
To secure their place in Sunday’s semi-final draw Thomastown overcame the challenge of O’Loughlin Gaels while Glenmore overcame Danesfort to book their place in the semi-finals. Meanwhile The Fenians were victorious over St Martin’s while St Lachtain’s saw off Carrickshock.
In the St Canice’s Credit Union relegation semi-final’s Graigue-Ballycallan and Lisdowney overcame Erin’s Own and Rower Inistioge respectively to retain their senior status for 2022. Erin’s Own and Rower Inistioge will play the relegation final on the weekend of Oct 31st.
