Weekend Roundup

Following a busy weekend in UPMC Nowlan Park the pairings for the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate final are known with St Lachtain’s facing Glenmore in a fortnights time.   St Lachtain’s overcame the Fenians on a scoreline of 2-12 to 0-10 to book their place in the final, while Glenmore were victorious over a much fancied Thomastown team, running out three point winners, 0-19 to 1-13.

On Saturday UPMC Nowlan Park hosted the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Junior S/F’s. Mooncoin were victorious over Slieverue to book their place in the final while Tullogher Rosbercon booked their final spot following a stern test from James Stephens.   The final score in that game was  0-27 to 2-14.   The final is down for decision in a fortnights time also.

Meanwhile in Clara on Saturday, Erin’s Own retained their senior status for 2022 following tough contest with Rower Inistioge.
