Glenmore are the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate champions for 2021 following a comprehensive second half performance which saw them run out 3-19 to 2-9 winners over St Lachtains on Sunday in UMPC Nowlan Park. St Lachtains would have been the far happier of the sides at half-time but Glenmore’s 2-12 tally in the second half was the game changer, they now have senior hurling to look forward to for 2022.
Meanwhile earlier on Sunday, Mooncoin overcame Tullogher Rosbercon in the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Junior final, 3-19 to 3-11 in their favour at full-time. Mooncoin will now proceed to the intermediate ranks for 2022.
