Shamrocks Ballyhale and Mooncoin both secured Leinster final berths following extra time for both teams this weekend in their respective semi-finals. Shamrocks Ballyhale overcame the challenge of St Rynagh’s in Tullamore on Sunday and did so playing with 14 men for most of the game. The score line following extra time was 3-24 to 2-18. The Leinster final will be in Croke Park on Sunday next with full fixture details yet to be confirmed.
Mooncoin meanwhile had their own extra time drama overcoming Tara Rocks from Wexford on Saturday, running out 5-16 to 2-19 winners in the end.
Glenmore’s campaign meanwhile ground to a halt in Naas on Saturday when they were beaten in their semi-final by Naas Hurling Club by six points, 1-16 to 1-10 at full time.
