Mooncoin claimed the AIB Leinster Junior club title following a 4-13 to 0-15 victory over Shamrocks of Offaly on Saturday in UMPC Nowlan Park. The opening stages of the contest were a even affair and at half time the scoreboard read 1-8 to 0-10 in favour of Mooncoin but a sparkling second half performance means the southern side will now contest an All-Ireland S/F in two weeks time against Salthill-Knocknacarra of Galway. Full fixture details have yet to be confirmed.
