Kilkenny ran out 2-15 to 3-9 winners over a determined Antrim in UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday. The home side found it difficult to get into their stride for large parts of the game with the third quarter proving to be their most effective period. The visitors were not going to give up that easy and had a late rally, one which could have caused a real upset. The rally didn’t materialise however and Kilkenny managed to secure a win and two points on their first league outing of 2022. Next Sunday will bring a different challenge with the trip to Tipp.
