Kilkenny sealed a 3-21 to 1-16 victory over Offaly on Wednesday evening to set up a Semi-final against Galway on the May Bank Holiday weekend.
Kilkenny started brightly but Offaly kept in touch throughout the opening half, two first half goals the difference between the sides at half time. On the restart it was the home side that pushed on, clocking up point after point and a third and final goal proved crucial. O’Connor Park, Tullamore is the venue for the semi-final V Galway, it will be a 4pm throw-in on Monday May 2nd.
