It took 80 minutes to seperate Thomastown and Danesfort in the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Final on Sunday but it wasn’t to be for Thomastown with Danesfort running out 1-36 to 4-25 winners. It was a tit for tat battle throughout with lots of great scores on both sides but ultimately there can only be one winner and so it will be Danesfort that will be included in the draw for the senior hurling championship next year.
