This coming weekend UPMC Nowlan Park will play host to five games in the concluding stages of our championships.
On Saturday there will be three games at the county venue, starting with two JJ Kavanagh & Sons junior semi finals, throwing in at 12 noon Dicksboro take on Windgap, while at 1.45pm Piltown face Blacks and whites. To conclude the afternoon of games Tullaroan will face Shamrocks Ballyhale at 3.30pm, this of course is the second of the St Canice’s Credit Union senior semi-finals, the winners will face James Stephens the following Sunday.
On Sunday a double header of Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate action will take place with Danesfort and Rower Inistioge throwing in at 2pm while Thomastown and Carrickshock take to the field at 3.45pm. The winner of both games securing prized county final spots.
Please note that Kilkenny GAA Handball are holding their annual bucket collection in UPMC Nowlan Park this Saturday., October 8th. All support would be appreciated.
