The 2022 Kilkenny Coiste na nÓg Convention took place in UPMC Nowlan Park on Monday last , 5th November.
Chairperson Willie Dempsey opened proceedings by welcoming everyone and said he was delighted to see such a large crowd in attendance.
Secretary Mary Fitzgerald issued both the mins of last years Convention and her Secretary’s report which was followed by a detailed review of the accounts by Treasurer Ray Byrne.
In the Chairman’s Address Willie expressed his delight at a total of 1157 competitive games played in 51 competitions across 3 age grades and gave a very sincere thanks to the Clubs, players & parents for making this happen. Willie gave a very special mention to the referees for their continued excellence and commitment throughout the year. He also thanked Kilkenny Co Board for their help which was always on hand when needed and thanked them for the use of MW Hire Dunmore.
Willie was extremely positive about the continued support of our sponsors which we have had for numerous years at this stage, Kilkenny Vehicle Centre and Duggan Steel. Willie finished by thanking his own “very hard working committee” and said he was looking forward to the challenge ahead with them again next year.

The Kilkenny County Board convention will take place on Monday night next at 7.30pm.
