Kilkenny welcomed Tipperary to UPMC Nowlan Park last Sunday for round 2 of the Allianz NHL. A strong first half performance from Tipperary meant Kilkenny had an uphill battle heading into the second half. A second-half rally, however, wasn’t enough to close the gap and Tipperary closed out the game with a 1-21 to 2-24 victory.
