The Kilkenny Junior Board met on Tuesday 16th February, 2023 to finalise groupings for the A, B, C, D, E and F JJ Kavanagh & Sons, Iverk Produce & Countrystyle Foods hurling leagues for the coming year. With the formation of an E grade in 2020, and the addition of an inaugural F grade the following year, both the Junior Hurling League and Championship have provided some great fare for clubs and supporters right across the county.
Of the 24 league and championship finals from 2021 and 2022, twenty different clubs have featured in at least one final, nine from the old South region, ten from the North, and one city club. This shows the competitions benefit to clubs throughout the county and 2023 should be no different.
The season will climax with a SUPER FINALS WEEKEND, where finals across all six grades A-F will be played. These are penned in for the weekend of September 11th.
