Kilkenny came up short in the much anticipated repeat of last year’s All-Ireland Hurling final when they took on All-Ireland Champions, Limerick in the Allianz Hurling League Final in Páirc Uí Chaoimh last Sunday.
While Kilkenny got off to a good start, Limerick kept their composure and goals from Barry Nash and Aaron Gillane contributed to their victory and their 14th Allianz Hurling League Title.
