Kilkenny’s 2023 Leinster SHC campaign off to a good start with victory over Westmeath

Kilkenny got the defence of their Leinster title up and running with a comfortable victory over Westmeath at UPMC Nowlan Park last Saturday.  In a one-sided affair, in wet conditions, Kilkenny led from the start and closed out the game 0-29 to 0-7.

Next Sunday, 30th April, Kilkenny welcome Galway to UPMC Nowlan Park for the second round of the Leinster SHC – throw-in 2pm.

Please note this game is an all-ticket event.  Tickets can be purchased online HERE or at selected Centra and Supervalu stores – see ticket details below.

Given the anticipated attendance and to avoid any potential delays with the phone network, supporters are advised to download or screenshot their tickets before arriving at UPMC Nowlan Park.

The game will be broadcast live on RTE and KCLR with live updates on CRKC.


Adult/Student: €20.00
Juvenile: €5.00 (must be purchased with an adult ticket)
Senior Citizen: €15.00
(Senior Citizen must enter the Stadium via designated Stiles and produce appropriate ID to show they were entitled to have purchased the reduced price Ticket)

Adults: €15.00
Students/Senior Citizens: €10.00
Juveniles: €5.00 (must be purchased with an adult ticket)

Wheelchair Tickets:-
The Wheelchair Ticket is free of charge and the Assistant’s ticket is €20.

Ticket Terms & Conditions:
  • No Concession on Student/Senior Citizen tickets.
  • Tickets must be purchased in advance.
  • No Ticket Sales at the Venue on Match Day
