The launch of the local senior, intermediate and junior Championships took place in UPMC Nowlan Park on Thursday night, with sponsors, players and officials representing all clubs in attendance.
This weekend brings the St Canice’s senior league and the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai intermediate league to a close.
The league and shield finals of the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai intermediate league take place next weekend (16th/17th September), along with the first round of the championship and the relegation semi-finals.
There’s a break in the St Canice’s senior hurling competition but the action picks up again on the weekend of the 23rd/24th September when the league and shield finals, along with the first round of the championship and relegation semi-finals are scheduled.
Next weekend (16th/17th September) also sees the last round of the JJ Kavanagh & Sons junior league, section A, come to a close while the junior section B league final and the preliminary first round of championship will take place.
