Congratulations to Thomastown and Tullogher Rosbercon who are All-Ireland Intermediate & Junior Club Champions.
Last Saturday, 13th January, was a memorable day in Croke Park for both clubs and for Kilkenny GAA as the sides overcame their opponents to claim the All-Ireland Club Hurling titles.
First up, Tullogher Rosbercon had a comprehensive 2-21 to 1-13 victory over St Catherine’s of Cork. Following the celebrations and before leaving the field of play, the newly-crowned Junior All-Ireland Champions formed a guard of honour as the Thomastown panel came out on the pitch and in another great team display, Thomastown cruised to a 2-23 to 0-13 victory over Castlelyons of Cork and claimed the Intermediate All-Ireland Club title.
