Kilkenny’s trip to Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh proved successful on Saturday night last with a 0-21 to 1-17 win over Cork. Kilkenny set the tone early in the first half and went into the break with a 3-point lead – there was nothing between the sides in the second half and a late point from John Donnelly clinched the victory and the two points. The Allianz Man of the Match was Shamrocks Ballyhale’s Adrian Mullen, who was very influential throughout the game and scored five points from play.
