Kilkenny travelled to Tullamore last Wednesday to contest the Leinster U20 Hurling Championship Semifinal against defending Leinster Champions, Offaly. In a tightly contested affair, the reigning champions prevailed and took the victory by the slimmest of margins.

Electric Ireland Celtic Challenge Corn Michael Hogan Semifinal
John Locke Park was the venue for the Electric Ireland Celtic Challenge Corn Michael Hogan Semifinal between Kilkenny and Waterford last Saturday. In somewhat windy and cold conditions, Kilkenny got off to a great start and when they took the lead, they maintained this lead to the final whistle. FT score 0-20 to 1-8.
The Celtic Challenge team will contest the final against Tipperary Blue. Full details on the final to be confirmed.
Leinster Senior Hurling Championship
In round 4 of the Leinster senior hurling championship, Kilkenny travelled to Parnell Park last Saturday evening to take on Dublin. On a beautiful sunny evening in front of a large crowd, supporters were treated to a highly entertaining and closely-contested affair. Kilkenny clinched the victory with a late goal from Eoin Cody which gave Kilkenny a two point lead at the final whistle, 1-28 to 2-23, while John Donnelly was awarded the Centra Man of the Match award for his outstanding performance.

The Seniors have a big match this coming weekend when we welcome Wexford to UPMC Nowlan Park for the fifth and final round of the Leinster SHC and in what is, in effect, a Leinster semifinal. Tickets can be purchased at select Supervalu and Centra stores or HERE.
Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Hurling Championship Semifinal
The Minors travelled to Tullamore last Sunday to face Galway in the Leinster MHC Semifinal. The sides having met earlier in the season in round 1 of the championship, supporters were anticipating a close affair. The first half was closely contested and the sides were level at the halftime break but Kilkenny took control in the second half and ran out comfortable winners in the end on a 4-18 to 1-12 scoreline.

The Minors progress to the Leinster Final against Dublin next Saturday in Laois Hire O’Moore Park, Portlaoise. Throw-in is 1:30pm. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
