The St Canice’s Credit Union SHC first round match between Tullaroan and Bennettsbridge has been moved to Canon Kearns Park – date and throw-in remain the same – Sunday 14th September at 4pm.
The launch of the local senior, intermediate and junior Championships recently took place in the River Court Hotel, with sponsors, players and officials representing our clubs in attendance. Chairman PJ Kenny, Tom McWey (St Canice’s Credit Union), Neil Lyng (Michael Lyng Motors) and Jack Kavanagh (JJ Kavanagh & Sons) all spoke on the night. This weekend brings the St Canice’s senior league and the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai intermediate league to a close with league & shield finals scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. See details below.
UPMC Nowlan Park is located in a residential area and we ask supporters to please respect the residents and to park responsibly. Supporters are advised to park at McDonagh Junction, County Hall and City Centre car parks.
The Medieval Marathon 2025 takes place around the streets of Kilkenny on Saturday – supporters are advised to allow extra time to get to your destination.

Admission to the finals in UPMC Nowlan Park is by ticket only (U16’s do not need a ticket) and tickets can be purchased as follows:

12pm – Shield Final – Dunnamaggin v. Young Irelands
2pm – League Final – Danesfort v. James Stephens
