After a year’s hiatus, the Dioralyte Walsh Cup makes a return, with Westmeath welcoming Kilkenny to Breedon Kevin Molloy Park, The Downs, on Sunday 4th January. This Round 1 fixture throws in at 2:30 PM.
The winners will progress to the Walsh Cup Semifinal, while the defeated team will progress to the Walsh Cup Shield Semifinal.
Walsh Cup 2026 Schedule
- Round 1: Sunday 4th January
- Quarter-Finals: Thursday 8th January
- Semi-Finals: Sunday 11th January
- Final: Sunday 18th January
A Walsh Cup Shield competition will also run alongside the main competition, ensuring plenty of competitive hurling throughout the tournament.
