In very wet and windy conditions, Kilkenny overcame Laois in Rathdowney yesterday afternoon in the Dioralyte Leinster Walsh Cup Shield Semifinal. Aided by goals from Liam Moore and Gearoid Dunne, Kilkenny were always in control of the game and the 2-17 to 0-10 victory set them up for the Final next weekend against Kildare.

The Final will take place next Sunday, 18th January at 2pm in John Locke Park, Callan.
