Come together ‘le Chéile’ at Dusk with Pyro Collective & Jeremy Hickey at UPMC Nowlan Park!

On the eve of our national holiday for Lá le Pádraig/St. Patrick’s Day (16th March) in Kilkenny City, experience a rhythmic and fire based celebration on the hallowed ground of Kilkenny hurling in Nowlan Park, just a few minutes’ walk from the medieval city centre.

Come together at dusk and see this ‘holy ground’ of GAA illuminated with fire and spectacle by the incredible Pyro Collective. This unique flame-based show of immersive dynamic fire choreography, aerial acrobatics, and atmospheric effects will ignite your imagination. Incorporating multiple fire performers and live drumming. The show will be an energetic, raw and a spectacular sight to behold!

Opening up the evening will be Kilkenny and Ireland’s master of percussion Jeremy Hickey! Hear the pulsating beats as  Jeremy Hickey, best known for his work as R.S.A.G (Rarely Seen Above Ground) embraces the dusk with a pounding and exhilarating acoustic set.

This spectacular performance draws on the timeless tradition of communities gathering at dusk, where story, music, and fire once bound people as one.  Sparks whirl, drums resound, and the night ignites in a breathtaking celebration of unity, heritage, and living energy.
