JJ Kavanagh Junior A Hurling League Final
Threecastles 1-25 (28); Glenmore 2-18(24)
Threecastles recorded a first ever win in the JJ Kavanagh Kilkenny Junior A Hurling League at Danesfort on Sunday afternoon, with a four point victory over Glenmore, 2-18 to 1-25, after a well contested final.
The Northern side were 1-14 to 0-09 ahead at the interval but Glenmore remained competitive all through on what was a lovely afternoon for hurling.
Congratulations to the Threecastles team and their manager Alan Guilfoyle, along with his selectors Derek Deegan , Robbie Webster, Tom Kelly and Nicky Dreeling on this notable achievement.
