The halfway point of the league campaign has been reached, with 55 goals scored across this weekend’s 18 games as Round 3 of the St Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling League, Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Hurling League and JJ Kavanagh Junior Hurling League delivered another action-packed weekend of hurling.
With three of the five rounds now played, the race for the knockout stages is beginning to take shape across all three competitions, but there is still plenty to play for.
The opening three rounds have produced plenty of competitive hurling and some high-scoring encounters, with every point becoming increasingly important as clubs battle for position.
With two rounds remaining, the pressure is now on as clubs look to secure their place in the knockout stages.
