The final round of the St Canice’s Credit Union Senior, Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate and JJ Kavanagh Premier Junior Hurling Leagues takes place this weekend, with plenty still to be decided across all three grades.
After four rounds of action, the final league standings will determine not only who contests the League and Shield Finals, but also the route clubs will take into the championship.
Across the Senior, Intermediate and Junior grades, a number of positions remain up for grabs, meaning the final round will have a major bearing on what comes next.
In the Senior League, Shamrocks Ballyhale have secured top spot in Group B, while the race for the remaining positions continues. Group A also remains finely balanced heading into the last three games.
The Intermediate League has plenty to resolve, particularly in Group A, where three teams remain in contention for top position. In Group B, James Stephens and Lisdowney have secured first and second respectively, with third and fourth still to be decided.
There is also plenty at stake in the Premier Junior League. Three teams remain in the running for first place in Group A, while Emeralds have secured top spot in Group B, where the remaining positions are still to be settled.
With the championship countdown well and truly underway, the final round promises another big weekend of club hurling.
