The Seminar for Kilkenny Club PRO’s attracted a large crowd and proved a most successful and productive meeting for all who attended. Over thirty Clubs were represented and Presentations were made by National Director of Communications Lisa Clancy (Communications A National Perspective), Kilkenny People Sports Editor John Knox (The PRO and Local Media), Kilkenny IT Officer Jimmy Walsh (County and Club Websites) and Kilkenny PRO Conor Denieffe (The Role of a Club PRO). Those attending found the evening most worthwhile. Many queries were dealt with on the evening and County PRO Conor Denieffe (087-9640229) and County IT Officer Jimmy Walsh(085-1740675) are available to answer any further queries Club PRos might have. The Seminar was organised as part of the Kilkenny GAA’s Strategic Plan which aims to provide training for all key Club Officers.The next phase of this training will involve Seminars for Club Chairpersons, Secretaries and Treasurers will take place in the Springhill Court Hotel on the 28th February.
