City sides, O’Loughlin Gaels and Dicksboro face up to each other in their county SH quarter final on Saturday in Nowlan Park at 4.00 pm. Both sides figured in the All Ireland Finals of their respective club competitions earlier in the year, O’Loughlins losing to Clarinbridge in the senior final, while Dicksboro went down to Ballymartle of Cork in the intermediate decider. While the County Champions will start as hot favourites, Dicksboro’s first round form in two tightly contested matches against Clara will give their supporters hope of a much closer challenge than they provided in the League stages when they were beaten by 3-16 to 0-10.
