Kilkenny County Board acknowledged the wonderful work beoing done in the promotion of gaelic games in Second Level schools at a dinner and presentation held in the Springhill Court Hotel on Friday night last. Representatives, including teachers and Principals, from twenty five secondary schools in and bordering County Kilkenny were present at the event. Guest speaker on the night was Martin Fogarty while County Chairman Paul Kinsella also spoke. Gear and vouchers to the value of over €15.000 was presented to the schools by the County Board on the night. Each year the Kilkenny GAA Supporters Club provides funding of €10,000 towards the cost of coaching and equipment in Kilkenny schools. Click Here for Photos from the evening
