It was a night of celebration for the Kilkenny Senior Hurlers when they were presented with their 2011 Leinster and All Ireland medals by GAA President Christy Cooney in Langtons on Thursday night. Among the large attendance were Director General of the GAA Padraig Duffy, President elect of the GAA Liam O’Neill, former President Nickey Brennan, Leinster Chairman Martin Skelly, Minister Phil Hogan and T.D.’s Ann Phelan and John Paul Phelan, while M.C. was Brian Carthy of RTE. All speakers were fulsome in their praise of the Kilkenny team and its management. The Kilkenny Intermedaite team also received its Leinster medals at the ceremony. For photos Click here
