Kilkenny Players Progress In World Championships

 Boys 13 & Under, Conor Murphy(Kells) and Todd Hynes(Wexford) qualified for the Quarter-Finals and Pádraig Cooney(Clogh) and Seán Carey(Goresbridge) also qualified for the Quarter-Finals  in Boys 15 & Under. In Mens A Doubles, Patrick and Peter Funchion(Kells) advanced to the Semi-Final. Ciarán Neary(Talbots Inch) and Micheál O’Brien(Offaly) have reached the Quarter-Final stage of the Mens B Doubles grade. In Masters Doubles, Ducksy Walsh(Talbots Inch) and Tommy Hynes(Wexford) have qualified for the Final. In Silver Masters A Doubles, Billy Bourke(O’Loughlins) and Egin Jensen(Dublin) play their Quarter-Final today as do Paul Dowling(Mothel) and Eamon Purcell(Windgap) in the Silver Masters B grade. In Golden Masters B, Jimmy Neary(Talbots Inch) and Billy Walsh(O’Loughlins) have  got through to the Quarter-Finals as do Paddy Reilly and Seamus Reade(Talbots Inch) in the Ruby Masters A Doubles. Denise Love and Ashling Maher(Clogh) have also reached the Quarter-Final stage of Ladies B Doubles.
