Besides the eagerly awaited Senior Final between Carrickshock and Clara County Final Day in Nowlan Park next Sunday promises to be very special. Can The Rower Inistioge cap a fantastic week by adding the Kilkenny Honda Centre Minor Roinn A title to the Intermediate title won last weekend. Standing in their way will be O’Loughlin Gaels who had a fantastic win over James Stephens in the semi-final.
Also on Sunday the Kilkenny 1963 All Ireland Winning Team will be honoured and introduced to the Nowlan Park crowd at half time in the senior game (Kilkenny 4-17 Waterford 6-8). And to add to the sense of occasion St Patricks Brass and Reed Band and a visiting Band from Mayo will entertain and lead the traditional parade of teams.
Admission is €15 (Tickets on sale outside the Ground); Students/pensioners €10 (Cash at designated stiles); Under-16’s Free. Throw in for Minor game is 1pm (Winter Time begins this weekend!) with the Senior game throwing in at 3pm.
