Huge Turnout For D J Book Launch

Hundreds of people turned out at Langtons on Monday Night  for the launch of D J Carey’s autobiography” D J – A Sporting Legend”. Fans from Gowran, all over Kilkenny and further afield were present to hear Brian Cody formally launch the publication. Hurling colleagues from Kilkenny and GAA figures from outside the county mingled with the huge crowd to show a huge groundswell of support for DJ. Among the visitors were Brian Whelehan, Offalys new hurling manager, Babs Keating, Cyril Farrell and Dickie Murphy.
