Kilkenny ended a 14 year famine at the U20/21 age grade by claiming the O’Neills.com U20 hurling title on Sunday in FBD Semple Stadium. In what was a tightly contested affair from start to finish with no more than a point seperating the teams at most stages, Derek Lyng’s men landed a famous victory. The final score was 0-19 to 0-18 and was the third time this team have won a game by a single point this year. Well done to Derek, his selectors, backroom team and panel on a great victory.
