Kilkenny have secured an All-Ireland final berth for 2022 following a 2-26 to 0-20 win over Clare in Croke Park on Saturday. Kilkenny started the brightest and following a commanding and at times determined performance ended the half with a Martin Keoghan goal to head down the tunnel fourteen points ahead. The second half was a tighter affair but a Cian Kenny goal was critical to a Kilkenny win to ensure their opponents had little room for a recovery.
Croke Park beckons again for All-Ireland Final day, this time its a July date, Sunday July 17th to be exact. There will be a quick turnaround for the team and management, we wish them well in their preparations. This will be Brian Cody’s 17th All-Ireland Final during his tenure. Details of events in the lead up to and around the All-Ireland final will be released in the coming days. Please support these these events to ensure the Kilkenny senior hurling team is well prepared for the day.
