Following Kilkenny’s great win over Clare at the weekend the countdown is now on to the All Ireland Final on Sunday the 23rd July.
Ahead of the game, and to ensure that the players and management team have everything they need as they prepare for the Final, a number of events and fund-raising efforts are planned.
Open Training Night at UPMC Nowlan Park – Tuesday 11th July
There will be an open training night in UPMC Nowlan Park on Tuesday 11th July at 6:30pm. Entry to the stadium is via Ardan de Gras, just off the Hebron Road. The players will be available for photographs and to sign autographs at the front of Ardan de Gras after training.
Golf Classic at Gowran Park – Tuesday 18th July
On Tues 18th July a Golf Classic will be held at Gowran Park. Team of 3 will cost just €150. There will be a number of prizes on the day. Tee times from Carmel Kenny on 087-6680084 or the Supporters Club or any officer of the County Board.
Corporate Dinner at Langton House Hotel – Wednesday 19th July
A fundraising Corporate Dinner will be held at Langton House Hotel on Wednesday 19th July. Tables of 10 cost €1,500. We will also accommodate smaller group bookings. Supporters Club Membership
Another very tangible way you can help the fundraising effort is to join the Kilkenny Supporters Club. Membership costs just €25 and can be paid to John Mackey or any Supporters Club Officer or online by clicking HERE.
Players Holiday Draw
Tickets for the Players Holiday Draw will be on sale shortly. Tickets cost €10 each or €50 for a book of 6 tickets. Tickets can be purchased through the clubs, the Supporters Club, County Board Officers or online (the online link will be available in the coming days).
Fun Run (Fun4KKCats) – Friday 21st July
A Fun Run or Walk will take place on Friday the 21st July between 4pm and 8pm at MW Hire Dunmore and a location in Dublin (to be confirmed). The run or walk can also be virtual at any time between now and the 21st July. Great prizes to be won, all the while supporting the Kilkenny team. See details on the attached poster.
