The tragic passing of a young special talent from Graignamanagh, Fran Doyle RIP, occurred on the 15th August 1993.
This Sunday, the 20th August next, Fran’s family and friends will remember him fondly in a repeat of the 1992 County Final at Dr Tierney Park at 4pm. All welcome!
The County Final on the 11th October 1992 between James Stephens and Graignamanagh/Blacks & Whites ended in a draw. James Stephens were victorious in the replay the following week but Fran was named the Iarnrod Eireann Man of the Match for his superb performance.
