Galway and Kilkenny each have two points in the Allianz Hurling League so next Sunday’s encounter in Salthill is very important to both sides. The weather forecast for the weekend is quite good at this stage and all indications are that Sunday will be an ideal day for hurling. Supporters travelling to Galway are urged to purchase their tickets in advance at the usual Supervalu and Centra outlets. There have been difficulties in the past with traffic in the Salthill area so having your ticket before you travel will simplify your entry to the stadium. Tickets cost €10 if purchased in advance (€15 on day of match). Under 16’s are free. The Kilkenny team will be announced as usual here on Friday night.
