Erin’s Own retained their Senior status following a closely-contested relegation final against Danesfort, with only two points separating the sides at the final whistle. Erin’s Own 1-17, Danesfort 1-15.

Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Hurling Championship
Wins for Thomastown (over Dunnamaggin) and Mooncoin (over Lisdowney) see them advance to the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Hurling County Final. The sides have two weeks to prepare for the final which will take place at UPMC Nowlan Park on the 22nd October.

JJ Kavanagh & Sons Junior Hurling Championship
In the Premier Junior Championship quarter-finals, Tullogher Rosbercon, Windgap and St Lachtain’s advance to the semi-finals, following victories over Emeralds, Piltown and St Patrick’s respectively.
In the Junior Section B final, Dicksboro retained their title and advance to the semi-finals, with a win over James Stephens.
The draw for the semi-finals took place at UPMC Nowlan Park yesterday afternoon and the semi-finals are scheduled to take place at UPMC Nowlan Park on the 14th October.
