Following a busy weekend of Junior & Senior championship semi-finals in UPMC Nowlan Park, the pairings for the Senior, Intermediate and Junior County Finals are now known. The St Canice’s Credit Union Senior County Final will take place on the 29th October and the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate and the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Junior County Finals will take place on the 22nd and the 21st October, respectively.
St Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling Championship
In the first of Sunday’s semi-finals, O’Loughlin Gaels overcame Bennettsbridge 3-16 to 0-22 and booked their place in the forthcoming County Final. Shamrocks Ballyhale claimed the final spot with a comprehensive 5-19 to 0-14 victory over James Stephens.

JJ Kavanagh & Sons Junior Hurling Championship
In the Junior Championship semi-finals on Saturday, wins for Tullogher Rosbercon and St Lachtain’s see them advance to the County Final on the 21st October. Tullogher Rosbercon had a comfortable win over Dicksboro (4-20 to 1-21) while the second of the semi-finals, between Windgap and St Lachtain’s, was a much closer affair. In the end, St Lachtain’s prevailed with a two-point margin, closing out the game 4-11 to 1-18.
