UPMC is hosting a free online information meeting on Men’s Urological Health on Wednesday, 29 November 2023, as part of Men’s Health Awareness Month. The virtual event is open to the public and is suitable for anyone interested in learning more about prostate health, PSA testing, lower urinary tract symptoms, and more, with some of UPMC’s Consultant Urologists.

This event will consist of presentations followed by a live Q&A from the following UPMC Consultant Urologists:
Mr. Kashif Siddiqui, Consultant Urologist, UPMC Kildare Hospital
Mr. Siddiqui will speak about lower urinary tract symptoms in men, symptoms of enlarged prostate (benign prostate hyperplasia) and the role of the PSA blood test in the diagnosis and screening of prostate cancer.
Based at UPMC Kildare Hospital, Mr. Siddiqui’s specialist interest lies in uro-oncology and minimally invasive techniques in treatment of benign and malignant urological disorders. He provides a comprehensive service on all urological disorders in adults including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), female urology, stone disease, inguino-scrotal conditions and fertility issues.
Mr. Lee Chien Yap, Consultant Urologist, UPMC Whitfield Hospital and UPMC Aut Even Hospital
Mr. Yap will speak about testicular cancer.
Having recently joined our network of urology consultants and working from both UPMC Whitfield Hospital and UPMC Aut Even Hospital, Mr. Yap specialises in minimally invasive surgery, endourology for complex kidney stone disease, and benign prostatic enlargement
