Last Sunday, Kilkenny took on Tipperary Blue in the Corn Michael Hogan Cup Final in UPMC Nowlan Park. Kilkenny took the lead in the fifth minute and never relinquished that lead, despite a spirited comeback from Tipperary in the closing minutes. On a 1-18 to 1-14 scoreline, this is the first time Kilkenny has claimed the Division 1 title.
