Kilkenny come up short in the All-Ireland Semifinal

Kilkenny came up short in the much anticipated All-Ireland SHC semifinal on Saturday last as Clare ran out 0-24 to 2-16 winners.  Despite Kilkenny leading  at the break, a strong second half performance and finish from Clare saw them advance to the All-Ireland Final on the 21st July next.

Congratulations to Shamrocks Ballyhale’s TJ Reid who made history on Saturday when he became the first hurler to hit 700 championship points and TJ finished out the game with a total of 706 championship points (34-604).
